Whether it is dietary, or something else in the water, but Somalis of today look nothing like those of even 30 years ago. When I look at old photos, of say family friends, or my grandparents, and regular Somalis, it is as if I am looking at a completely different ethnicity group.I wouldn't be surprised if it's mostly about the modern day diet, genetics and maybe climate. High sugary diet leads to high insulin and chronic inflammation in the body couple that with genetics and voila there you have it.
What would be the medical reason for it? And if so, is it found in kids born in hospitals in the West with sound health care systems? An overly evolved prefrontal cortex is it is.
Same people, different environment. It's that simple.Whether it is dietary, or something else in the water, but Somalis of today look nothing like those of even 30 years ago. I was joking. What would be the medical reason for it? And if so, is it found in kids born in hospitals in the West with sound health care systems?
I did fall for it - that was awfully sneaky of you.I was joking.
A well-functioning frontal lobe is a good thing. You can plan better, predict and anticipate, have better behavioral control, something-something about memory, etc. Don't hit your forehead too often.I did fall for it - that was awfully sneaky of you.
A sound advice for the late night owls, but still does not explain the 'forehead' quandary.A well-functioning frontal lobe is a good thing. You can plan better, predict and anticipate, have better behavioral control, something-something about memory, etc. Don't hit your forehead too often.
