Are you suggesting that too much tolerance can be a bad thing or are you against the idea of having a free and open mind?
Intolerance is worse because it is linked to many terrible things like slavery/apartheid and the holocaust to mention a few. On the other hand, there are no such cases for being tolerant and, in fact, being tolerant has only spurred positive change and growth in societies.
