What is your strongest Somali insult u use?

I feel awkward swearing Somalia outsite or PC stuff and the classic family friendly habaar.

Qoon duli, I have no idea what it is other than a stronger version of duli. I grew up in a no-cussing household until us kids turned into vulgar assholes at some point.

I didn't even know what abaaha wass meant. I swear, some kid I used to play with would come outside at like age 7-8 with no jacket and his hooyo would SHRIEK from the balcony. 'ABAAHA WASS. EY, EY DHALAY CAAWAD INUGU SOO JIRANDOONTA' and throw his coat from the balcony. Never knew what it meant until I visited the UK for the first time - well into my teens.

What’s qoon

Hands down the hardest, coolest and most intimidating thing I heard from my angry father ranting many years ago.

:deadmanny:

"Afarta micii baa xarameeyey"
Four something is haraam?

I'll translate it to you so that you'll understand.

"If someone peed in your mouth, you aint gonna wash it? We prefer you with a closed mouth"

A poetic way of saying to shut the f*ck up to someone who just talks rubbish

I have no idea what qoon means

Micii = Canine teeth - your four canine teeth make you haram

It's a roundabout way of calling someone an animal, I.e. you would've been halal to slaughter like livestock if it weren't for your canine teeth
