What makes Somalis prone to cuqdad?

I notice that Somalis tend to hold onto historical grievances and alleged wrongs against their clan and sub-clan for a long time, sometimes generations...

In contrast, non-Somali groups don't carry cuqdad. The U.S and Japan became allies right after World War 2, despite the U.S nuking Japan twice. Same thing with the Allied Powers and Germany.

German and Israel were allies as far back as the 1950s, despite Germany slaughtering six million Jews. Today many Israelis visit and live in Germany.

In contrast, Somalis have serious cuqdad issues, especially the three main clans (Hawyie, Darood, and Dir-Issaq).

What aspect of Somali culture makes cuqdad such a problem? Addressing this problem may be the key to Somalia's problems.

I personally got a lot of cuqdad after reading Edo Lidwein Kapteijns' book. What those Hutus did to my people
Issak probably have the most cuqdad out of all the Somali groups, to the point where they've made a fake country based on it.

I'd say that a majority of the three big qabiils have figured out that it isn't progressive at all and buried the hatchet.
There's still the minority that are glitched into the past who find it hard to make peace.
It's one of the things that is holding us back and I think it'll take some time, it's nonetheless a problem.

Darod have huge cuqdad, it is an illness. Isaaq has no issues with other clans, we have no issue with dir, hawiye, raxanweyn, the minority clans.

Darod have issues with everyone. I think darod need to pray and get professional help.

I was comparing the Issak to the Jews.
Darood don't have cuqdad toward Issak, except maybe the Hartis who are annoyed about being "included" in Somaliland.
Like I said, Darood cuqdad is toward the Hawyie. Issak cuqdad is toward the Darood. Hawyie is just a lost, confused soul depressed after being manipulated into overthrowing a good master.
