It depends on how we handle the increase of population. Theoreticaly it is more than possible. Germany has 82 Million people with 357,000 square km were as Somalia has 637,000 square km square lands. People have to understand that Somalia can easily bear 100 Million or even 150 Million people, but therefore you need certain conditions.
The increase of population in europe was the beginning of the industrialisation. The industrialisation in Europe was first and foremost possible, because of the implentation of a law, a functioning government, justice, ressource sharing, equality between people and ect.
If Somalia can achieve the above mentioned things, no doubt 100 Million people can live there. South Somalia has one of the best lands for agriculture, the whole Somalia has uncountable coastal cities for export and import and we have the longest coastline in Africa with unaccountable food ressources from the indian ocean. Besides that we have oil, gas and many other undiscovered ressources which we can exported due to our plenty coast cities.
If we continue like today, which seems to be the case, i say even the 12 Million today are way to much.
