I would cure the Somali people of the one disease that has held us back for the past 30 years. It is a disease that can grab hold onto anyone, anywhere and whenever it wants. A toddler can suffer from this disease, so can a 20 year old and of course a old man. This is the disease that has held us back from conquering many nations, from realising our United Cushitic horn, it has held us away from achieving the PAHGs and even our own woman r leaving due to this very same disease. The Somali people need the cure yet they don't seek it out, instead they give it to their kids and their kids onto theirs and so on.

Nationalism is most important tool in keeping people together and reducing civil unrest.

If I were a president, I would do whatever it takes to keep the nationalism high and give Somalis a sense of pride for their own country.

I would reach out to diaspora for their support. Their support can be used in areas where it is more useful.

Grant Puntland Somaliland indepedence. Merge Jubbaland and South west into a larger state called South Somalia and become its first president and then grant this state indepedence. Step down as president of Somalia and assume my throne in the South Somali state.

3 things I would advise him on as CEO of the biggest private equity fund in Somalia:

1) Invest in Human Capital and help build Politechnical schools. We need people wearing hard hats not dress shirts while unemployed.

2) Eliminate taxes for Somali Owned enterprises that are involved in natural resource exploitation.

3) Issue Bonds to the public that are backed by state sponsor companies. People will have equity in thier major corporations and have equity in their government.

Bonds is selling debt and earning interest on that debt. A better alternative would be selling partial ownership of the company based on risk sharing and profit. Sukuk issuance can also work
