Yep..
More than half of my makeup is from the Sahel.
Senegambia & Mali.
Which tracks & makes sense because my fam in the US is mostly from Florida & South Carolina.
(Those enslaved in these states were predominantly taken from those areas.)

If I spoke French it'd be a wrap!
I wouldn't have to second guess about WHERE on the continent I'd want to relocate to.
I already speak one cac language. Learning another for the sake of communication with my own people would crush me. Good thing the AES is getting rid of French so maybe their is hope.

Bringing this up reminds me of the time I showed my mama my results
& what the people in these countries looked like.

We're diverse ASF!
That's probably among the underlying reasons many of us don't get along with each other.

Some of us primarily descend from Sudanic people's. (The Sahel - & most of Islamic West Africa)

Some come from Bantu speaking groups (Cameroon)

Some from coastal peoples (Think Ghana/Angola)

Some even have Central African ancestry

We're a mixture of many different African groups - Some more than others some less than others.
All depends where ur family was enslaved in the US.
That's why I mentioned where my family was from.

Our phenotypes aren't the same at all!
If u ever travel the US this is easy to see.

Aside from the coli ( locked registration).
Their is no alternative for African centered thought on the Internet.

I'm all but banned on YouTube.
Black Reddit users think they're honorary cacs so those discussions go nowhere.

And all the other African sites have outdated interfaces or I couldn't interact with anyway because I don't speak the language.

For the most part I can speak my thoughts here without filter & that's appreciated.
