Yeah Djoubiti people are usually very dark because of the extremely hot climate there. By North Somalis, I mean the Gadabursi, Isaaq, and the Dir who live in cooler climates, so they naturally have more casan skin.

I'm talking about PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. 80% of every light Somali I've seen were Isaaqs/Gadabursi. All the Daroods I've seen were 50/50, half madow half light. Hawiye are almost all dark skinned. Isaaqs are closer to the Arabian peninsula so they obviously mixed with them more than South Somalis.

Funnily enough, the lightest somalis I have actually met was hawiye(HG) and the darkest isaaq(hy)

I'm not isaaq, but do you people intermarry with Yemenis?
