Scandinavian countries have multiple Somali Members of Parliament, local council representatives and prominent members of society. The first Somali MPs in the Western world were in Holland and Sweden.

However Somalis in the UK are the least employed, least educated and indeed least integrated, having no member of Parliament (except if you count a half Somali half Brit who represents a constituency with next to no Somalis lol). Second migration immigrants from Holland were quick to set up businesses in the UK when they arrived because of the lack of socio-economic restrictions compared to Holland.

The reason why Somalis do bad here is simple, they are not willing to integrate and they are the most conservative diaspora. Going to a place like Sweden you'd think you entered another world.

No one is denying that at all, we're just saying the euro trash contributed a lot to our failings lol You said: "Improvement in education and employment came after 2005 according to the Home Office." This is a classic case of manipulating figures. First of all, these figures only show people who were born in Somalia. It doesn't represent the thousands of Somalis who were born in Britain. Secondly, the Somali-born Brits in 2005 were new arrivals and there were less than 50,000 of them in Britain at that time. Thirdly, your narrative doesn't fit the description of stable Somali communities in places like Yorkshire, Cardiff, Bolton, Bristol, and Liverpool prior to the Euro trash invasion lol

I'm speaking behalf of all the young british somalis under the age of 30. We are absolutely remarkably doing well. In the next 10 years and so there will be more somali Councillors and MPs representing Somalis. Somalis are new immigrants and it doesn't take over night to become something we can't honestly compare ourselves with the south Asians who have been here more than 6 decades.
