Its inevitable that Ethiopia will disintegrate soon, so when they do, the argument that Somali states will be under Ethiopian influnce will fly out of the window.

In my opionion Somaliland and Puntland will be much better without xamar. Puntland is already doing relativly good with very limited resourses,imagine what we could do if we had indepence.

Both Puntland and Somaliland would do better without xamar, mogadishu is holding us back so fucking much wallahi.

My family is all gadabuursi and all Awdal state supports years before it become trendy for a while in UK and other places with all the Awdal parties wallahi that mess of a political party was hard to watch , with all the power grabbing and fraud like funding.

I do think as a state , Awdal has soo much geographic and financial potential but the politics will always hold it back forever.

However, realistically, I personally just want to see a drastic positive change in Somalia (divided or not).

Nothing is stopping them from developing their states.
