When Somalis ruled Jeddah

The kingdom of Aksum controlled parts of Southern Arabia and made several attempts to invade and occupy Jeddah. In retaliation for increased piracy attacks by the kingdom of Aksum in Jeddah, Umar bin khattab sent a naval expedition against Adulis. There isn't any credible academic or historical evidence that alludes to Somalis controlling Jeddah. No Saudi or Arab scholar mentions that claim in any book. Somalis need to stop exaggerating historical accounts.

It's true that Cushites had antiquity in Arabia in more than one way, from the very early Semitic migrations days, looking at mtDNAs clearly from northeastern Africa nested among the Arabs of the peninsula. However, this idea that we ruled Jeddah is far-fetched. Furthermore, we had nothing to do with whatever Abraha was doing; that was the highland Habash. We're the coastal people south of that -- different peoples altogether.

I think our relationship with the inland Arabia is something that will become a nice story in the future. This does not take away from the reality that Cushities and Arabs are distinct people. Different that people likely mixed as they came in contact. The lifestyles are very compatible. @Shimbiris posted images of how certain Arabs have northeast African guri. Similar to how Arabs were absorbed by Bejas in the Eastern Desert, so were all the ancient Cushites in Arabia, weather sporadic demic movements in the Neolithic, Bronze Age, and the Historical times. Regarding the trade contacts and such coastal trade links and movement related to post-1000 BCE, that is a different matter from the people we see evidence of in the deep maternal DNA of Arabs, or southern Arabian potential Cushitic substratum.

We did rule Jeddah and this history was written by Arabs and that's why we match the Adnani Arabs under E-Y18629 which is 2600 years keep crying and writing paragraphs trying to deny our history we are Arabs

TRANSLATION:

More than 73 years ago, specifically in 1945 AD, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may God have mercy on him - left the port of Bab Al-Bunt in Jeddah, heading to the Arab Republic of Egypt across the sea to meet the King of Egypt, King Farouk, and returned on the same route across the sea.

In detail: A number of historians of the ancient city of Jeddah narrate that Caliph Othman bin Affan chose the port of Punt in Jeddah as an entrance for pilgrims about 1414 years ago. This port is also considered an entrance for pilgrims to Africa. Because the word punt is Pharaonic and the country belongs to Somalia, and the Pharaohs used to import some materials such as wood and gold from it, and it was located approximately south of the waterfront of Jeddah.
