That I can agree with. In Somaliland though I think their numbers are exaggerated.
I don't know if you know Samaroon subclan structure but it is the Makahiil that live across the borders. The Maxad Cases and Habar Cafaans are not that large and they are mostly in SL.

Nice where you from? I'm from LQ originally but we live in Yubbe. To answer your question I know we're separated but we always ally in politics so politically I do identify as Warsangeli since we contributed alot to their history along the coast

Why give them seats when you can occupy their land without needing to offer them anything? Rape them and they will sing your anthem. Massacre them and they will wave your flag. People like this deserve nothing. It makes sense that Gadabursi and Warsangeli are treated better as they are peoples with some semblance of dignity.

I think you can still identify as a ogayslabe politically without needing to identify as a warsengeli. Most ogayslabe that I know of are proud of being ogayslabe whilst still accepting that they share a lot of history with warsengeli. Just like arab Salah and MJ relationship. Sadly we also have some small percentage amongst us that pretend to be warsengeli as they feel coming from a small tribe is a bad thing & are basically self haters.

the actual parliament should have mps based on merit and elections, whilst the house of elders should be clan based. Political parties should be based on ideology not clan all 3 parties are too similar, should be a labour, liberal, conservative and unionist party. Elections should hide candidates and only show parties. A big shakeup is needed.
