Ethiopian and Djiboutian citizenship are equally 'xaar' as the Somalia one. You still have to go through the same visa process as nationals of Somalia will have to.

Most Western Somalis will use their Western passports to travel anyway. They may only want a Somali passport for the sake of it.

You can buy Somali citizenship for just a few hundred bucks. It's easy to bribe the guys who give it out. It is not a prestige citizenship.

PS. @MSGA in 2012 they changed the rules.. those were the old rules. Now you can even get citizenship if your MOTHER was the one who is Somali.

The law is adjusted but it wasn't repealed, it doesnt say anything about maternally somali children acquiring a citizenship,

Article 2. Acquisition of Citizenship by Operation of Law

It takes precedence over the 1962 statutes on citizenship, so far as they are incompatible with the adopted Provisional Constitution. However, this would not render the 1962 provisions invalid, as they have not been repealed by a legislature or rendered invalid by any court of law.

This aint the 1500s. Foreigners aren't genociding us. This kind of thinking is why other Somalis give your people nicknames like Majareeteen and Bantu Cismaan. There should only be two haplogroups present in Somalia. You can't go inviting dhegcas to marry your women and call it "assimilation".
