He's honest imo. He held managerial positions in various local institutions in UAE in mid 90s to late 2000s. He served as senior Accountant at Trading companies in UAE and he was very successful at that. The guy also reformed Puntland's education system when he was the Minister of Education.

I admire his authenticity and overall track record of successful management skills. He'll certainly be a good president and reformist in both finance and educational systems of Somalia. We should be prioritizing Education over other government sectors. Education is vital for the upliftment of the nation from its current predicament.

Balkanization in Somalia would be messy, but perhaps inevitable. The process for the federal states to get recognized by the UN would stall development for years, SL is still waiting for the UN to call them. And every khat addict with a Qur'an and gun would try to create their own state, which would cause for even more senseless death.

I don't know man, Somalia's future is bleak.

FailMaajo was a Taxi driver and later worked for the department of transportation in Buffalo up to his appointment as PM by Sharif. I say Ali Haji has better track record of successful management skills than Farmaajo. The past three years of terrible governance by FailMaajo and his team is a clear evidence of FailMaajo's incompetence and lack of leadership skills. What has he done?!! I do not support Farmaajo or N&N, I am, however, apprehensive to follow this site with it's "Failmaajo" echo chamber without a clear replacement. I believe the situation is not as 1-sided as it is shown on here.

Ali Haji was never part of any terrorist organisation but he's a member of Al IctiZaam (Headed by Sh Umal) and that group condemn Al Shabab and their terrorist activities.

Even though he was part of Scholars that wanted to establish an Islamic government in Somalia in early 1990s, he was never involved in their military campaigns, in fact he saved the lives of 40 SSDF commanders in 1992 who were captives to Al Ittixaad including Abdullahi Yusuf and MOHAMED Abshir

Abdullahi Yusuf would've shot him dead if he was an evil treacherous individual like you make him out to be. He took a major role in freeing SSDF commanders imprisoned by Al Ittixaad. In fact, he closely worked with AY post Al Ittixaad conflict and later moved to UAE to pursue his career in finance.
