Honestly, considering that Madagascar had beat Niger 6-2 away, I really thought that it would be a guaranteed win for Madagascar at home. But here we go again, football is full of surprises and Ethiopia somehow qualified even though it lost 3-1 to the west Africans

So now unless Rwanda beats Cameroon away

Sudan and Ethiopia (who are politically at odds these days) will represent East Africa
