Please be open minded and read the entire post. Throughout the years since the collapse of the state in 1991 people have pushed the blame on many different groups. This clan destroyed Somalia or that militia destroyed Somalia. The fact of the matter is, the people who share most of the blame for the destruction of Somalia is none other than Somali women. Somali women have been behind every major catastrophe in our history since the birth of the state in 1960. During the 1977 invasion of Ethiopia, not a single Somali woman was seen on the front lines. After the failure to annex galbeed into the country, discord arose between clans across the state engineered by women. It is no secret in Somali culture women are the ones usually calling upon "tolka" for war between clans. Post 1991 when the state fell into absolute chaos, it was men who brokered peace, men who initiated reconciliation conferences, and men who put the arms down. Even today, clan xaflads where tribalism is celebrated and promoted to the youth are administered by women. A good example of this is the samaroon lady who made the song saying "amhara are closer to me than anyone passed garowe". I think its time we address the elephant in the room guys
