Instill pride in your children making sure they can speak somali know their history, culture and only find their own attractive. Also give a stern warning when it comes to marrying non somali.
Move to areas where it is majority Somalis. To ensure they don't lose their identity and seek validation elsewhere.
Create and build networks for Somalis only. We talking schools, mosques, marriage meetings and other activities to connect with the community.
Create network when it comes to raising awareness of knife crime and gang culture and get the troubled youth away from that sort of life style. Basically dawah.
Teaching your children in having manners and not making fun of your own identity for ajanabi approval (unfortunately this is prevelant within the somali community that needs to be addressed)
