Why are Somalis Iron and vitamin D deficiency?

Every Somali I talk to are either taking vitamin D for vitamin D deficiency or iron medications.

I've to take them both FML...




I need to move to Arizona or California. I've noticed Cali people are always happy while MN are grumpy 8 months out of the year

Mashallah my iron is adequate because I eat beer and kidneys as often . However my vit d is low not below average. I have take vit d tablet daily plus cod liver tablets.
It’s always sunny in Melbourne and I do spend time outside yet my vit d is low.

Liver and kidneys? No thanks sis... I've started taking cod liver supplement and Vitamin D along with iron tablet. I don't eat red meat at all, I'm a pescatarian.

Best place to live is San Jose in my opinion. It's not as hot as Southern California. There were quite a few Somalis living there too when I visited. The Bay Area was pretty nice in general (aside from all the homeless people shooting up heroin and shitting on the streets in San Francisco).

San Diego is too ghetto for my liking. Some parts of that city are 3rd world wallahi. The only positive I would say is that it's close to Mexico. So if you're ever in the mood to go exploring a place ten times more dangerous than Somalia, it's right next door.

I haven't been to Sacramento unfortunately. It's not part of the Bay Area (it's like a two hour drive away). The Bay is awesome though. I went to Yosemite National park when I was there.

Somalis literally only live in either San Jose (Northern California, near San Francisco) or San Diego (Southern California, near Los Angeles). Both places are great, but the Bay can't be beat. It's easily my favorite part of California. I understand why G Eazy reps it all the time now.

Don’t eat red meat as much. Organs. Chicken and Seaford only
Spinach have good amount of iron. Eat as much as u can for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Iron deficiency because Somali men breed Somali women like cattle. A lot of women become anemic after having children. It’s worse when it’s too many. Vitamin D deficiency because of the heavy dark clothing and never going anywhere. They don’t see any sunlight. I wonder if reer Europe do since they’re always going to Africa and don’t work.

Actually those here aren't much better because the sun is so hot, they hide from it.

people who live in extreme hot weathers are mostly vitamin D deficient. Try Oregon or Colorado, places where they get good sun but doesn't burn you.

Also you must be very dark skin and your body isn't capturing enough of it from the sun.
