Why are Somalis scared of cats?

I've never understood, why are some of us so scared of cats? I understand dogs because it's haram to keep them indoors but what have cats ever done?

Yeah but it doesn't stop at people being scared of Black cats because of shayateen pretending to be black cats. Muhammad (ﷺ) loved cats and cats are considered to be holy animals in Islam, why are Somalis so scared of cats???

every somali family i know loves cats tbh, we have a cat ourselves. my mom had an issue with it at first but she came around.

You kidding right? If that's the case the people around me back then must have had catphobia.
I remember being told if you touch a cat you'll never be able to give birth if you're a women. I use to chase around stray cat and see what they're up to.

I've also been told don't you ever mess around with cats a women went to jahanam because of them.
