Nah fam i wouldn't do that on the contrary i used to stand up for cats and help them against kids who poured water on them. I used to run after cats, watch them, feed them or play with them. Dogs were to big to mess around with. I heard that if you help animals, they’ll help you out on the day of judgment. Therefore, I was nice to them, especially catswdym see what their up too.

The natural habitat of cats is near humans, they domesticated themselves and sought out humans, ever since then we've had a symbiotic relationship with them
I love cats, mine cuddles with me. Randomly wake up to him in my arms.
They're not truly domesticated. One generation is all it takes to become feral and eventually wild in behavior. Many or even most also need to be neutered to curb their natural instinct to leave closed spaces like your house and explore. The males especially become insufferable in this case and will yowl all night and day to be let out so they can explore and find mates. Personally I prefer the way my family kept cats in Somalia when I was growing up and going back there for the summer. We'd just leave food out for them in our garden, play with them and spend time with them there but they were otherwise left to leave and explore the area, even beyond our walls, at their leisure.

I am a kalb man. I wanna get one upon my return to Bosaso. Thank the heavens for the wahhabi ways that have now become the norm among Somalis who all, unlike the nomads of old, fear dogs. I intend to have my kalbs sit in on meetings as an intimidation tactic.

Major pet peeve of mine is how cats destroy bird & small animal populations with the help of humans.
Cats get free shelter, food and medicine provided by their humans. They then go outside and kill all the animals. All the animals that could kill cats have been hunted to death so they have nothing to worry about. While the other animals need to worry about shelter, food and fight off diseases.
Thankfully foxes have started roaming my neighbourhood and missing cat postere have gone up

I don’t hate cats, I love them but they getting assisted too much. Keep your cats indoors.
