over here especially in Canada both boys and girls interact with each other heavy especially in unis even date openly lol is seen as normal but in the UK I heard is the opposite and everyone avoids each other is sad the country in general is uncomfortable and boring the somali community there really is down the drain smh.

I , myself don't have brothers or never really socialized with Somali guys ever coz I went to a white school.

Same, primary and secondary school were all cadaan. But I can imagine it being awkward. My uni is still predominantly white but there are a few POC including some Somali guys and eveytime I see one of them we have this weird eye contact. Thank God they're not in my year or are taking my course.

I actually live in one of the worst neighbour hoods in london for somalis, the somalis here are insane

in early 2000 somali boys snitch and told jamaicans about how we have gold and hagbad, shit was chaos , one woman had her hand cut of just for a gold bangle
