NO, he starts reading and then half way down the page he zones out and another thought creeps into his mind and takes over but he is still reading the page. Once he has finished reading the page he doesn't remember what he has read and the new thought has taken over.

I can read for hours and hours. @Jeffo why don't you just try to keep your concentration and everytime a thought enters your mind just brush it off. Practice doing it and you will probably improve your focus. Let me know how it works out
