Of lately I have been going into Jamaican restaurants and eating from there. I thought the Oxtail was Hilib ka yimid lugta lo’da (I thought the oxtails came from the thighs/leg of a cow).
I have now discovered that these people’s glorified oxtail is the dam tail of the cow. They started eating that because it was the part of the meat the slave owner would feed them.
