I do wonder why animals do this, its not just one or two either, they tend to do it in flocks. And I wonder if its out of an innate need of wanting to be close to god.
Children are also facinated by rain too and cant get enough of it. After the first taste they are captivated by it.
Some of my earliest memories are of me and childhood friends just standing in the rain and trying to sip from it.
Here, the moment there is a drop of rain everyone is fleeing it, as if acid was reigning down. Perhaps even adults back home do flee from the rain and I am just idealising the past.
We could benifit from having animals and nature in our everyday soroundings. I mean something like a middle ground as seen in Japan. Here you have to go to designated places just to see nature, and as for animals, then its zoos, and they are a miserable, broken sight.
