Almost every time I see Kenyans being up Somalis, the comments are always filled with vile hatred, calling Somalis “treacherous”, “parasites” and “foreigners” among other things.
Why do Kenyans hate Somalis so much? What exactly happened?
A lot of these African nations never go for the colonizers that still hold wealth and power in their countries.x.com

Yep this brainrot needs to be put in qashinI've been lurking on this website 2022, & you guys recycle the same topics about somali hate every other week, we don't need to have this conversation everyday please ignore those xenophobes & get off social media, i grew up in kenya, they're very nice people, i wish them nothing but the best.
I can’t compare being Kenyan to being Ethiopian. Being Kenyan is a made-up thing, it was created by the British. Ethiopians are a real group, I know they are different ethnic groups and the Amharas forced people under their kingdom, but these people are actually quite similar and most Ethiopians fall into the Habesha/Oromo category, whereas Kenyans don’t have that. Being Kenyan is an identity created by the British. A Somali can be Kenyan if he was born and raised there much like a Somali born and raised in America, but a Somali can’t be Ethiopian. Thats my personal opinion on this matter."Kenyan Somalis are Kenyans. We have always been, and we will always be." As a person from Galbeed I can't see myself ever saying im Ethiopian Somali especially when they hate my people and kill them. But on a serious note the Somalis over there need to stay vigilant.
Ethiopians ethnicgroups are alot more similar to eachother than they are willing to admit and they have been apart of eachothers ecosystem for centuries, the only true outliers in that society are somalisI can’t compare being Kenyan to being Ethiopian. It’s just business envy also we are socially different from these people (insular) and physically distinct. Tensions are bound to arise with other ethnic groups if you are somali, unless the other ethnic groups are similar in conduct (closed off/insular, endogamous, practise group economics etc.) , it’s why you rarely ever hear of indians in Hyderabad complaning about us or egyptians in Cairo despite there being a sizable somali population there. Compare our experiences in arab countries or India with our experiences in various african countries. Also africans are poorer on average and like any group get really hostile when resources are scarceInshallah when Somalia prospers, majority of reer Kenya migrates back home. We aren't wanted anywhere.
