To an extent yes. A lot of young men seem disillusioned. But social media's made it all worse, women were limited to a small number of suitable men. Whereas now, any half way decent or avg looking girl is inundated with options and has a literal horde of thirst men constantly in their DMs. It's only natural for their egos to inflate, they wouldn't bat an eye at guys they wouldn've ordinarily have gone for.

It's not just women though, everyone thinks they can do better now. Everyone's waiting for the better option to come round the corner. No one seems satisfied with their current partner wallahi.
You really get to see how fucked it all is once you get off social media for a bit.
