It is baffling that the most honorable of people who had to go through the trouble of finding the true guidance unlike us ungrateful people who were born into it are hated by these vile nationalists. Your reasoning is flawed as many young Somali youth are also not "responsible" for their nation's collapse. Judging from your previous posts I sense some bitterness you have toward fellow Somalis and generalizations you hold about them as a group. I have not seen what you are talking about short marriages. While it is true most reverts are married to sisters of other ethnicities I would say in most cases this is an issue of there being a shortage of suitable Muslim revert sisters from their own background. Let's be honest mate, at the end of the day there is a preference for one's in-group which is undeniable even for the tribally-oriented folks. A hadeeth says "People are like gold and silver; those who were best in Jahiliyyah (Pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance) are best in Islam". You cant change metal . If there are people that had excellent mannerism and status before converting to Islam, they are entitled to the same distinction, respect and status they had in their pre-islamic life. Why do they have to??? There is nothing in Islamic law that says they need to or that it should even should be encouraged. It is also not very practical seeing as the born Muslim community significantly outnumbers the revert community.
