I was just curious like we are some of the most ridiculed, hated, poorest people on earth but still have the energy to feel superiority over others. Its caajib wallahi. You can be proud of your achievements, your nation or ethnicity without feeling a drop of superiority over others. Iwas just curious sheeko caajib a waaye

That sense of superiority is a palliative of their misery. It's called "projection" in Psychanalysis.
Nothing wrong with it, we need a way to vent it out, all the repressed feelings.

I agree. Sharing simple facts about Somalis and Somalia's situation should not regarded as 'self-hating'.

Brazenly calling Somalia a 'shit-hole', however, is what I deem going too far and a bit self-deprecating.
