If you dont want to wear hijabs thats your choice. But your religion calls for it. I dont believe in mocking people. I believe in educating people and let them make their choice.I'm well aware of that. But I just hate the cultural norm that forces women to cover up or get mocked/ostracized. Women should not be pressured by anyone to cover up in huge fabrics. Our bodies are only for ourselves.
Somalis are being fed arab bullshit 24/7.
So
good luck with the "women should wear whatever they want to wear"
So i'm not the only one who notices how cursed this life is in this generation? what's the point of being rich if your ppl are messed up and poor? I would never live life again if i had the choice! i've found myself cursing adam and that shitty tree more often than once.I agree sxhb its disheartening being a Somali in this generation
Imagine being resurrected....going to the new life and being told you will be an african again. This is just sad. Our ancestors from 200-300 years ago would probably kill themselves if they saw our society now. They literally made our culture by passing it on from generation to generation but noo low iq somalis want to throw it all away for the unibrow bastards.
Somali news channels love showing bleached somali girls who look like raw chicken legs.
Somalis back home are still stuck in 2013. Looking at them makes me want to choke.
Somalis are seriously lost. Xalimos in the west are crying for Madow, xalimos back home are overdosing on xalwo, luugo basto abdis in the uk are dying every month, abdis back home are busy making tiktok videos.
The only thing we have left is xalwo
wait
its from the unibrow bastards
I agree with you on this. As an Arab I know a lot of Arab girls who are not even allowed to chat with their male cousins. I think Somalis are far less strict and conservative as a lot of other Muslims.Yeah I get what you mean. I feel like there are certain aspects of the deen some cultures tend to focus on and other don't. It varies like for example Somalis are very big on hijab but pakistanis/asians not so much. But than again, Somalis are not so strict when it comes down to gender relations. As long there's a level of respect and modesty. Somali women are not afraid to state their opinion or talk back to men, it's not so shamefull as it might be to other muslim cultures.
It is islam they can drees culture cloth and sane time wear hijab the modest one we have to islam just like our mother eve and nabi isa mother maryamaI honestly wonder how Somali culture has become so different in the past few decades. We went from women dressing like this:
To dressing way more conservative:
I don't have a huge problem with it since as Muslims, we're supposed to cover up, but I hate how intolerant our society can be. I like wearing my hair out, but that doesn't mean I'm a bad person. Even in most Arab countries, it's not unusual to see women with their hair out, but it's almost intolerable in Somali society.
I think as a Somali woman, I should have the right to wear my own hair out. When we have a society with qabiil-hatred, khat chewing, and un-Islamic superstitious beliefs, wearing hijab is the least of our worries.
Women should not be forced to cover themselves. It's between them and Allah in my opinion.
Brother, how can you be so depressing, dramatic and so funny at the same time.So i'm not the only one who notices how cursed this life is in this generation? what's the point of being rich if your ppl are messed up and poor? I would never live life again if i had the choice! i've found myself cursing adam and that shitty tree more often than once.
What is it that god hates about that shitty continent? I bet that cursed tree was there and that's why it's extrely cursed or maybe it's iblis's permanent place of residence.
It's either iblis's throne or Madows. Why can't that continent ever be blessed? i don't even dream about jannah anymore.....i just have nightmares about us being resurrected in that hell hole continent again.
Your mouth is very wide like crocodileGet rid of the “imported Islam version”
@xabashi didnt Abiy give them the middle finger when they tried to spread their extremism in Ethiopia
Worry about your foul mouth you ill mannered terrorist sympathizerYour mouth is very wide like crocodile
Even if adam and eve never ate from that forbidden tree, they would still have come to earth. God has already forgiven adam and eve for their sins, and it wasn't because of their sins that we're here (that's something the christians believe). This world is our place of test, the only way we can enter paradise is if we succeed in this life. As long as you have 100% faith in allah (by praying and making dua), and live a life of honesty and good will. You're granted to enter paradise my brother. After all, no one said that life would be easy on this planet. Everyone is struggling to live, even to the point that some people are willingly to make other people as their stepping stone for their own success (may god punish them). So i'm not the only one who notices how cursed this life is in this generation? what's the point of being rich if your ppl are messed up and poor? I would never live life again if i had the choice! i've found myself cursing adam and that shitty tree more often than once.

Yesss I grew up thinking my cousins were my mahram !I agree with you on this. As an Arab I know a lot of Arab girls who are not even allowed to chat with their male cousins. I think Somalis are far less strict and conservative as a lot of other Muslims.
It almost happened to me. My crazy aunt wanted me to marry her daugther (which is 1 year younger then me), but i told her to f*ck off. We haven't spoken since then, it has been 4/5 years now.Yesss I grew up thinking my cousins were my mahram !
