why doesn't Africa have a single developed country or developed enough?

Too much groupthink and trauma sharing on this continent. “Africa is one” xaar, prime example that Ibrahim Traore guy from Burkina Faso. Kicking out French troops for PR when you’re losing to JNIM is certainly a choice.

Kagame is the greatest leader on the continent right now. Top dog no doubt. Unfortunately he got given a country 20x smaller than Somalia, smack bang in the middle of black Africans with no coastline. He needs a coaching upgrade.
hágame has just captured congo prestigious lands

because no African country is industrialized. even in Somalia, we are too busy with retarded qabilist fights rather than educating our people, building hospitals, infrastructure, and food independence. China is an interesting case study because it took 800 million people out of poverty. If we got an actual working government we could do it way easier because we only have 20 million people. the Chinese warlord era also shows that countries can stabilize after such devastating wars if they have actually motivated political parties. Somalia has only qabil loyalty and in the little time we were nationalistic and had an ideology we did quite a bit with it. I'm no fan of Siad Barre and the Kacaan, but they were progressing, the civil war put us in a 20-year freeze

Its hard to hear but the reality is that even before colonization in the 1800s africa was behind the rest of the world. It had been for at least 2 millenia. 90% of africa with a few exceptions had
1) no writing system
2) no coinage
3) no animal transportation so everything was done by hand
4) no infrastructure like wells or dams

There was basically almost no real precolonial state capacity in most of africa. That has huge ramification since ultimately the europens wether its in asia or africa could only build and rely on what was already there. In asia you already had large states with bureaucy, wiriting, and infrastructure in place . So the Europeans colonization of asia meant these countries could acquire European knowledge and technology on a large scale . So that buy the time colonization ended asian countries had a decent pool of well educated elites and they had built up a decent amount of infrastructure.

By 1950 indonesia alone had 60 thousand km of roads all of sub saharan africa had 42,000 km by 1960
Dutch colonisation doesn’t sound so bad now no wonder they never wanted to leave. Instead we got gaajo fucking Italy, Britain France and Ethiopia scheming together to destroy us. I heard the Germans were gonna sign a deal with the majerten sultanate but were undercut by Italy who signed with hobyo.

Honestly africas future isn’t that bad, I mean South America- this continent has been in stagnation since 2000s and their population isn’t growing so they will be stuck in their economic position for awhile. You mention Uruguay but look at Venezuela, Haiti, Honduras, Bolivia. There’s a lot of countries that aren’t doing good

Asia- I think Asia grew too fast and now they are also facing demographic issues when they are still growing. Not sure how it’s going to work for them.

Europe- Outside France, UK and Germany, this is a decayed continent. Everything is old and all of the great things they’ve done was in the past.

Africa has two things going for it #1 Very young population, it’s shameful politicians don’t make use of this but we have a large workforce that can build the country and #2 so much natural resources and untouched land, why do you think China is obsessed with Africa? Look at how much untapped resources there are. Anyways, I do think with the right politicians and policies Africa can rise and it has so much opportunity to do so.
