True. But in general, Africans go more about nationality, ethnic lineage, culture, etc. The black thing is really not well emphasized on any primary level on the continent.

Americans take the race thing to the next level. We don't do that in Europe, at least not where I live. I think racial labels make more sense where you live, given the historical background and sociocultural development. It's true that racist people usually see Africans as one thing - it's wrong.

East Asians are an interesting test case for white countries to show whether racism is significant enough to make racial minorities suffer or not. The only thing East Asians in the West suffer from is some social exclusion and the occasional mockery, but definitely not in the job market, academia, nor their overall economic success. In fact, they often outperform the local whites when it comes to socioeconomic success. This is why BLM types don't like anti-Asian sentiment narratives cropping up to the mainstream. It shows that the 'failure' of blacks in the West does not stem from white supremacy.
