I think sex is considered taboo because we align it with creation - for only making babies. The idea of sex being for love and pleasure is shunned.

If married couples had an honest open dialogue about sex, what excites them, pleasures them, then there would probably be less divorces, more women initiating and more men not ejaculating within a minute.
