The thing that delays marriage in the somali community is money, a lot of guys are only established at the age of 25-30, what are the young people supposed to do? You can’t marry with no lacag, you need to pay rent, food and all the others necessities.

My solution would be guys should marry when they are studying, if they have the means for it. Somali community should push for this hard. If you are for example becoming a doctor, just marry during your studies.

Its actually the other way around, marriage back home is rising as the scholars made marraige cost cheaper for youngsters as a set rate. The marraige age is also getting younger and younger.
