Why Qabiil is stupid and should be abandoned

Unless the obvious fact that our country would become peaceful, develop and move forward wasn't enough for you, here are a few reasons why we should all drop qabiil.

1. Your Somali friends are most likely from all kinds of qabiils, not just your qabiil. The dudes you grew up with, you play sports with or go to the gym or school with are all from different clans. These are the people whose company you enjoy, so how can you practice qabiil when your entire live doesn't just revolve around your qabii alone?

2. At least 50% of Somali people are born parents of different clans, and if you disagree, let's run a poll on here. So how can you practice qabiil and hold on to it for deer live when your entire existence depended on another clan? Sometimes even rival clans(like in my case).

The west isn’t the same as back home unfortunately. How many qabil diverse (more than 2) cities are there in Somalia?
Exactly he thinks people back home have the same experiences as us in the west what he’s proposing is easier said then done

Tbf in Somalia most people live in their traditional territories. But there’s some cities that are more clan diverse due to the history i think Afgooye is a good example :cosbyhmm:

The thing with conversations directly pertaining to this subject is when it is brought up directly like here, everyone pretty much concurs and and there are no descending voices around.

For example, the recent thread by periplus Change my mind: If you are qabiilist, you cannot claim Somalia is homogenous concluded with 8+ reacting with "agree". That's good right? Everyone is at at an accord...

But then in the thread Somalis should put being Somali first before islam by 𐒔𐒙𐒇𐒕𐒛𐒐200, what was supposed to be a discussion about Somali names over Arabic names, quickly descended into Qabillism, perhaps even into FKD.

A lot of people, for one reason or another, are very much hanging on to their Qabil and you can observe this in the threads and posts that dont directly bring them up.

A big disappointment is recently learning on SSpot that the diaspora hanged on to this cultural aspect. We are supposedly very fragmented and dont work well with each other, at least as much as other communities do.

At least the ones back home hang on to qabil mostly as a matter of survival. Diaspora kiddies however who use their qabil as an identity and fight other Somalis are beyond pathetic and shouldn't be allowed to breed.

would that survival be even required if qabiil didn't even exist?

it's let getting credit for fixing some shit that you did. It makes no sense.

I am surprised people are trying to justify this shit.

that's not the point. We have clans living right next to each other. They don't necessarily have to live in the same city. Are they close enough to each other? do they marry each other all the time? Do they need each other to do business etc...

The point is no clan can live in isolation, heck no country in the world can survive completely isolated from the rest of the world.

I'm not justifying anything. I'm simply explaining it as the matter of fact that some Somalis (not all) use qabil as the only defence they have against mooryaans simply killing and raping them.
Those moryans who rape and kill are doing so using qabiil. Somalia needs to ban two things if it has any hope of coming from all this failure.

1. Ban qabiil and enforce this ban harshly with prison time and hefty fees.
2. Ban khawariji or any armed religious organization.

It’s because being anti-qabil has become a fashionable statement it gives off the appearance of someone who is educated and above the petty squabbles. However when it comes to how they act and the politics they push for qabilism is heavily involved.

Uniting especially with people who you have fought with in the past takes a leap of faith and somalis have too much qabil paranoia because the nation is unstable and nobody trust the government and justice system to be impartial.

No we need to qabiil to make sure random people cannot pretend to be Somali. Someone who has an Oromo father and a Somali mother (like Johnny 'Somali') would be able to cosplay as a Somali, but now that we have the qabiil system in place, he cannot pretend to be Somali because he has no qabiil.

What we need to eradicate is qabyaalad!

Qabil and a nation cannot coexist. We must make a difficult choice and leave the clan divisions in the past, uniting our country and people as one nation.

It's much worse back home, they're the ones fighting over barkads.
