The label of "criminal" has less meaning in poverty-stricken areas, especially when people feel they're getting taken advantage of. When there was no real government solving these issues, the pirates might as well be called coastguards, relative to the conditions of the whole damn country. Lol

if your an unrecoqnised entity with no real authurity and juristiction ie police to steal imprison keep hostages etc you are by definition a criminal

I never said anything to the contrary, merely an explanation regarding the reality of things. Though it's interesting you're not even acknowledging that the foreign vessels are not allowed to even be in that territorial water in the first place, they're doing a criminal act themselves.

Just get a navy and arrest and try them in a court dont be a criminal taking them hostage without juristiction and the authority to do so
