They donated 24 million dollars in 2024 to Somalia. China doesn't care that much about African countries. Their focus is South East Asia and Asia in general.

If the West stopped funding Somalia, Somalia would go back to 1994-2002 when there was barely anyone on Earth who gave a shit about the country.

The idea that African countries can just switch from depending on the U.S. to relying on China isn't realistic. China doesn't care that much about Africa. Look at the Congo, their number 3 biggest trading partner, and China isn't doing shit to stop Rwanda. That's why the president of Congo is begging Trump for help.

Even if China doesn't reach out, Russia likely would. The Russians already have their boots in Mali and other African countries and proved willing to support the Malian government against terrorists.

It's racist talking point to claim this fake statement of arabs and africans replacing Europeans in their countries..but of course some European countries have more africans and Arabs living there compared to others and this is mostly rooted in colonialism and other factors.. If the Europeans are realty smart they would make Africa their close partners, since Africa has so much raw materials and Europe the technology to develop those resources. But let's see how they act in these dynamic changing world order, they'll have to compete with Russia and China to gain influence in Africa and so far they've been losing due to bad track record in Africa.
