I agree , too many times what's normalized in our community is that when a couple go through a divorce the father pulls a tyrone doesn't contact let alone see his kids and got no clue what they up to instead he's off to start a new family anyone can give birth to kids but not everyone can be a father whose always there for his kids even if he ain't together with their mom hes gonna be involved and be active in their life

It's disgusting how some have the nerve to insult the single parent that is actively raising the child and have sympathy for the loser who didn't even arrange shared custody.

No normal father/mother accepts anything less than shared custody, uff.

This would probably be better for a relationship, having enough space and time to be fully engaged with your children when you are with them and then when your with your partner, you don't have to be distracted by children.

Some married couples do that now, they live apart and still raise their own children together. Space is good or a relationship.

Exactly! But what’s insane to me is how the mother is blamed and no1 asks where this poor kid’s father is at? If his father was around, all his questions would’ve been answered by him. His father pulled a Tyrone and the stepfather is an asshole who call him adeer instead of aabo, which is common among Somali men. They never allow their wife’s children even if they are babies to call him “dad” but yet somehow it’s the mother’s fault for both of these grown faraxs sh!tty behavior smh
