TLDR: Islam will exist in the West, no question about it. Smaller number but a more devoted population than any other area on Earth. It is a test, simple as that.
When you offer people the freedom to choose religions, as Western countries do, everyone can agree that religions will inevitably lose followers. Firstly, they may be Muslim in name but not practicing until eventually they or their children is out of the fold of the religion.
However, what people also do not understand is that the people that will remain Muslim in the West will be more devoted and pious. They have the choice to leave but want to remain in spite of the tempting life away from the religion. It is a test, a challenging test but a test we should not run away from.
I look at societies like KSA and Iran, in which religion is forced down the throats of the masses and its clear to see that it creates an opposite effect. When religion is forced down people's throats incessantly then you tend to have people who are Muslim because they have to not because they want to. Then when these people reach the West, they fall out the fold of the religion because they did not appreciate it initially.

Islam was in the middle east for 1400 years. even in weakest moment the Muslims of middle east is more devout than Muslims of the west
Islamic governance of the past in the ME was not the same as what we see today in KSA and Iran.
Both these nations use religion as a justification for their subjugation of the masses. In KSA, the clergy have given carte blanche to the Al-Saud family, claiming whatever they do is in the interest of Islam and Muslims everywhere.
Many nations, if not most, in the Middle East do not govern by Islamic principles of governance. In fact, many of these nations still have a colonial penal code, judicial system and relics in their governing system. They have changed the name at the front of the store to say Islamic but the actions in the back of the store say anything but.
None of you will leave the west for an Islamic environment. You're all talk, no action. I wish you all would but you're a bunch of hypocrites who will cry if you were stripped of your western passports and deported. You insist and beg to live with the kufaar and those you call degenerates, just like all of your family in Somalia who finally are having the door closed on them and are no longer seen as refugees. None of you have shame or principles. None of you want to return to your native Islamic Somalia and rebuild it. A few of you will entertain the Gulf states but only if you get to keep your western passports. I hope for the continued rise of right wing populists to teach you ungrateful western haters a lesson. Finally they are listening and have woken up. I saw a Somali guy attack a gay skinny cadaan on Twitter (both from the UK) and the cadaan said "why don't you go back to your country?" and many khaniis and right wing cadaans and average non-political people gave him likes.
