Do we hope that the Afghan themselves are able to find a solution free from western intervention in which their women are free to gain an education, work and get access to health care? Yes.

This isnβt a new phenomenon. This even goes back to Ancient Greeks who had extreme forms of segregation and misogyny and even then homosexuality is rife.
This canβt be a coincidence. Every single culture with extreme segregation and misogyny has this and itβs been like this for more than 2000 yrs. History shows us this and so do societies like Afghanistan and others I donβt want to mention.

i donβt how or why pashtun culture developed to be like this. I canβt think of another people that wishes to exclude women from the public domain as much as them and it doesnβt make sense considering how many social issues it seems to have led to.

I donβt know why youβre being dense but itβs clear to see foreigners arenβt required to follow the same laws. For starters these Chinese women arenβt even dressed the way that itβs legally required. Even the Somali girl wasnβt legally dressed despite being a hijabi. Women there have to by law wear niqab.
So your telling me Chinese female tourists who would get kidnapped in Somalia and Syria are βsafeβ under the Taliban but their own women arent? What kind of messed up logic is this?
Tourists are the most vulnerable and far from home, if the Taliban truly abused women as you lot continue to stress why dont they go for these women? Seems like your theory is collapsing under the weight!
