In easy language, the guy gave her something she wanted. She became desperate for it and was taken advantage of.
When you push a woman's individual button, she will get hooked. A lot of guys think they have to be sex-machine perverts or clowns that have to constantly entertain. It's really about psychology and seeing the woman, and playing her like an instrument.
You wonder why a woman gave him all that money. The guy took her mind. He made her feel a fresh novelty she yearned for, that he uniquely introduced, and for that, she wanted to chase at any cost. The lucid interchange of a man and a woman can be like drugs. But the guy did it only for the money. From another perspective, at the time she gave him the money, you could think of it as her paying for the service, and it being worth it at the time, with the idea that it would eventually lead to closer contact. Overall, maintaining the immediate was more important, the rest is illusory. After he dipped on her, the momentum crashed, and her mental state went back to normal but with a big psychological vacuum that needed to be filled. Now she sits with the sober realization that it was unjustifiably cut short.
Scam artists work the same way. A lot of people don't want to admit it, had it gone the right way, people would only say positive things. Without exploitation (using this word conservatively), this would be a nice story, lol. Examples of love, commitment, sacrifice, patience, etc.
You guys also judge this woman as if she is a fool. But you guys are the fools. The human imagination is powerful. The fact that she never met him made it all the more potent than he would have been had they met. Trust me.
I don't judge her and the guy was certainly a scam artist. The fact that she spent so much money on him means she is a good woman who will hold a man down. It's sad she spent that much money but it reflects good things, essentially. The world can sometimes be cruel to the goodness of people.
