My own teacher was afraid of me touching her shoulder to gain her attention. Every other kid was doing it but I was intimidating her with my big frame towering over her.

Same I would always be seated at the back tables so as to not obstruct short student from seeing the board.

Tall men are given respect because of their perceived strength and small men are bullied because no one sees them as a threat, which they often try overcompensate aka small man syndrome. People believe you're a worser person simply because you're short whereas it's the opposite for a woman. In fact people believe you're more likely to be good if you're a woman.

My experience is very similar to this Japanese guy. I've always been tall since I could remember.

I was above average for my age but had a spurt in year 9/10, which took me to 1.91cm.

Before the spurt, I was probably top 10-20 tallest in my year then went to top 5.

I'm slightly above average which is good being too tall comes with its own problems. The height I wish I was is 6'2 or 6'3 now that is a perfect height for a man who lives in the west.
I would not want to be taller than 6'5! Your height is good.
