Women were held back historically and now they’re not. Hence they’re reaching their full potential.why do you think that is the case ?
Historically as a working class poor man, the vast majority of young working class girls of your background would be even more penniless and less educated than the men, now women can take themselves out of the trenches
I don’t think anything has as much for the men changed. Things are just a lot more apparent because women have changed. Example, my own grandmother never went school but my grandfather was educated. The norm was that men were the educated ones, Now all of us girls have an education and it’s becoming apparent that women are working harder whilst many men aren’t taking advantage of the rights they’ve always had. You’ll disagree but I see it as patriarchal entitlement. Whereas us women understand how lucky we are.
It’s like how white working class boys have always struggled with education but politicians only started to make noise about it when black and brown kids stayed to do better all of a sudden it’s an ‘issue’ because in there eyes, white boys are superior and should be doing better.
