I only did went through school to make my parents proud. Not because of any love for education or desire for academic excellence. the only subject I looked forward to was History, because I had a cool anti semitic teacher.

university has once again made me hate education and wlhi there’s more sharaf and karama in being a warehouse supervisor than sitting next to khaniises and hindi for 3 hours a day.

@TekNiKo You have to understand my need and other people's need to attend these colleges, it's mostly because i can't afford to go all the way to the Saudi or an arab country and attend college there. People don't have the luxury for those types of opinions

If you value dunya over aakhira and don’t make hijrah then its up to you. Hijrah is waajib upon every Muslim from the lands of shirk if you cannot fully practice your Islam. Sheikh Ibn Baz (rahimahullah) makes this very clear.

Those same women who get an education and make good money want a man who has that and more. Which leads to the current unmarried 25+ year olds who always complain about not finding a man.

Sitting your ass in school, doing assignments and getting a degree in a credible field is the easiest route to a decent stable income. Those people who thing that pursuing economic activities that don't need those kind of qualifications are opening up themselves to a world of suffering. Doing manual labor and entrepreneurship is way harder and it has limited growth opportunities. If someone can't sit in class and do the basics I'm sure they are going to struggle in these others too.

Conscientiousness explains much of the difference in gender academic achievement gap. But the wealth and income gap is still there. Will it be closed?

I don't think either gender is naturally more smarter than the other, and that the differences are because of how boys and girls were socialised. Its like how people think its endearing when young boys are cheeky and rude "haha, boys will be boys" but the same kinda grace isnt given to young girls and they are expected to behave better. This makes boys less likely to take school as serious than girls until the age of like 16 and because they haven't they are less likely to progress onto higher education.

I also think another reason is because in schools there are so much more female teachers than male teachers which wasn't the case a few decades ago. Obviously having female teachers is a good thing but there should be equal proportions of male and female teachers in schools and I think that would help alot with the education attainment gap between boys and girls
