Personally for me my principles I don’t think I could speak to them. I hate when people harm dadka miskeenta. Just for me to gain money and a job I’ll be turning a blind eye to stuff that’s happening right in front of me I can’t. It’s haram. But also in the countries we are living in many of these jobs cause harm and destruction to other nations or people within their own countries. So what can we even do. I’ve been thinking about it a lot it’s built into the system.

Wither “they” took part in it or not is irrelevant, their participation in said atrocities makes them just as guilty. If I had a relative in that predicament, who were knowingly complicit in said atrocities, then yes I would cut ties with them immediately.
