No I personally don’t because of all the garbage that’s spewed here. The trolls crying on this forum are the same ones who go in on Somali Bantus African amerocans and Jamaicans

However, It’s a bit surprising though the racist people on here spew their beliefs in anonymity whereas these people are comfortable enough to do it on camera. I wonder why people say things about us in public when they wouldn’t do it to anyone else. We are an easy target because everyone knows we are too busy going after eachother.

Nope. I joke with my New Zealander friends and call them, sheep shaggers, why would some non-Somalis talking about whether they would marry a Somali or not upset me? Look Emily, there are two groups of Somalis.

First group. They’ve been raised in a clannist household and consider their clan to be perfect and “God” to have bestowed on them qualities that other clans were denied. Perfection is the word here and they will never admit to any wrong doing and neither would they tolerate jokes about their clan, it’s seen as demeaning their clan. Since they identify with clan issues very strongly, when paying lip-services to Somalinimo, they apply the same methods to it. Have you noticed that they consider as Somalis only the groups/clans who are armed and took part in the Somali civil war? Others require to be brave and kill other Somalis to be considered as Somalis.

The other group are mainly Somalis who don’t give a f*ck about clannism and don’t react if their clan is insulted or not. They might make jokes about other nationalities and laugh when one is made against them. Unlike the clannists, they are confident about their somaliness. A Somali Benadiri guy today told me, ha lagu xanto ama ha lagu caayo waxaa ka horeeysaa ha lagu xasuusto. It roughly translates (help required here from those familiar with the adage), only those groups who are significant are dissed.

Start a thread and ask them to confess if their clan has ever transgressed against another clan. You know what, even the victims will deny because it means admitting to defeat and portrayed as a weak clan. We create poetry and myths about the clan’s bravery. But it involves killing men and boys, looting their herds of animals and women. It’s considered bravery. They became too sensitive towards criticism or jokes about their clans and themselves. They haven’t evolved from clan savagery mindsets and that’s why their nationalism is fake and it is full of bollocks. Off course, they will lobby to sack a dude who made jokes about Somalis on racism grounds, but they will insult every race on the planet all the time.
