I’m going through the exact same problem. I already have massive anxiety and insecurity issues and wearing a scarf makes me stick out too much and further highten my insecurities. Just be confident, I was reading this statement about people having too many issues in their own lives to care about how other people look/dress etc. Also remember that there are always going to be people who will look much more awkwardly than you and they don't mind expressing themselves to the world. Guys @TheShinning can attest to this, in Minneapolis you will see kids as little as 4 months with a hijab in the hot summer. I just think the moms are too lazy to do their hair so they slap hijab on them which is sad.

Well my sister is 8 years old and she has never been forced to wear hijab but she likes to wear it sometimes even begging my mother to put hijab on her, if you don’t force your daughters to put hijab on they will beg you to put it on. Fobs are too much, my uncle once told me the worst of Somalis are the ones that come straight from a little tuulo in Somalia/Ethiopia to the west. They need to make it mandatory for them to live in semi big city like Nairobi for at least 3 years before bringing them here.

I don’t think this lady has ever heard of the phrase “ When in Rome, Do as the Romans Do.” She’s running for president in a notoriously conservative and closed up country, there’s not a hope in hell she’ll rally voters under western influenced liberal politics.
