Write a poem

In order to stimulate my brain which has turned lethargic lately I thought the perfect idea was to start a poem chain thread.

I'll start off first with a simple haiku.

Title: Enlighten By: Psyche

Sunlight rays emerge,

From the clutches of darkness;

Illuminating

I never meant for this to be artistic, but to be fun and to see people's writing styles.

i think i'm pretty good at creative writing, but not poetry sadly (might give it a try later though)

Either way you can tell the forum's topics are heading down a predictable path with a few oddball threads actually getting mileage.

they mostly have writing from users, including trashy fanfictions and erotica, but there's some gems on there (like horror and thriller types, and poetry and other stuff etc.) and some that have been published
