Have you ever heard Farxiya fiska's song dhak dhak? It's the samme word.
She sings: "wadnahaa i dhak leeh, dhak dhak" as in my heartbeat is fast and jumpy. The problem is the context i've used it in can't be translated directly.
Dhak or Dhag, it's same word.

It's a multifaceted word like many other Somali words.I was just talking on the phone to my mum not long ago about an issue and she was like "waxkastiba waa dhag" meaning everything seems good/perfect.
