I was watching an Arabic food recipe and the guys usage of thalatha xabat through me off. Never heard Arabs using a similar word.

Many words ending in ad/at are Arabic loan words though you can never be 100% especially as we are not linguistic experts.

Words like maal are a good example of Arabic cognates from afroasiatic past, and then it is also used as a kind of loan in a religious sense sometimes.
