Islamisation? What you mean. You could have worded that differently. Also using latin script makes it easier for Somalis to learn other languages. You dont need a script. Secondly we are ethnoreligious, you cannot seperate Islam from Somalinimo, you do that you automically become an honorable habashi and oromo. What we need in Somalia is more scripture based practice, more orthodoxy. You might think that Somalia is what it is today due to Islam or our conservatism but it is the exact opposite. Somali sunnis today are not literate and informed when it comes to our faith, this why shabaab, Muslim Brotherhood and sufism have misguided our people. They think that khawarijism is the correct methodlogy and the sufis believe that grave worship and shirk will get them closer to Allah. What we need to do is for Somalis to act and belief as the Prophet ﷺ, his companion and the salaf did. Secondly culture needs to be purged, every unislamic element should be wiped our, such as free mixing, Pharoahic circumcision of girls, tribalism. As for the preservation of our identity, I want us to purge lots of Italian and some arabic loan words and replace it with actual Somali words that has the same meaning so 80-90% of our language is pure somali, the 10-20% are scientific words or names of inventions in foreign languages such as a computer. We need more focus on Somali grammar/naxwo too.

We need cencorship in Somalia and organizations that work to help newlyweds sustain their family so every male regardless of his financial situation get married. Thirdly I want a registration of all Somalis in Somalia, this where clans can be utilized, where both genealogy, lineage and tribe can be documented. We need to promote tolerance amongst clans and more ethnic awareness of other ethnic groups, so there is an unconcious positive light seperation between ethnic groups while all ethnic groups seeing themselves as Somali by nationality. On national level we will recognize different dialects and languages within our border. This will ensure the diversity in our community and it will be a lot easier to absorb other ethnic groups and expand.
